Tesoro de Don Felipe has revamped its tequila line with
El Tesoro Platinum, an ultra-premium tequila that has been
renamed and newly packaged. The thick, diamond-cut edged bottle
is embossed with an agave plant and a treasure coin brand logo.
Supplied by Jim Beam Brands, El Tesoro tequilas are double
distilled to 80 proof in Jalisco, Mexico.

Gilbert, a Sydney businessman, is introducing Inner Circle Rum. The rums,
originally created by the Colonial Sugar Refinery in Australia, went off the
market for 20 years. They're now back and available in four proofs 80,
90, 115, and 151. It is said to be smooth, rich and flavorsome. Inner Circle
is imported by the Spirit of Hartford.

La Playa Beverages is debuting Deep Sea Rum and Deep Sea Vodka, both triple distilled. The rum, produced from Mexican sugarcane and bottled with an angelfish figurine inside, is said to have a hint of sweetness, while the vodka, which boasts a blue dolphin figurine, is said to have a clean, smooth and light taste.

From Michael Roux and Crillon Importers comes Magellan Gin, a natural blue-colored gin distilled four times. After the third distillation, when the spirit is considered to be smooth, clean and neutral, fresh botanicals are added. The sprit is distilled again and infused with natural iris root and flower, giving the gin its crisp taste and blue hue.

Simi Winery has come out with a vineyard-designated wine: Simi 2000 Landslide Cabernet Sauvignon, and has reintroduced its Russian River Valley Reserve Chardonnay. The cabernet is said to have ripe, toasty aromas of cherry, cranberry and plum, while the chardonnay is said to have a tropical fruit aroma with intense notes of honey, citrus and vanilla.

The Australian Premium Wine Collection has released two new vintages: 2001 Grosset Polish Hill Riesling and Farrar Pinot Noir. The Riesling, which is fermented bone-dry, is said to be powerful and built to last, while the Pinot is said to be complex and Burgundian-inspired.
